Public Service
As members of the greater American Advertising Federation (AAF), Ad 2 chapters across the nation give back to their communities year after year using the skills and talents that brought us together in the first place: our Advertising skills of course!
Around the end of summer each year, Ad2 DC chooses a local non-profit which they will work with through the following Spring to create and execute a pro-bono advertising/marketing campaign. The campaign varies based on the needs of the client: whether it’s promotion, brand awareness, logo design or media and interactive elements.
At the yearly AAF National Conference, we present our campaign and compete against fellow Ad 2 chapters across the nation.
The Public Service campaign is a vital part of what makes Ad2 DC successful. It allows us to connect and show our appreciation to the community we live and work in. It builds our club’s integrity by allowing our young professional, student and recent graduate members to work together and grow their industry experience (ahem, resume too). And last but certainly not least—it allows us to show off just how awesomely talented we really are!
